I'm a bit of a nail polish addict. Despite the fact that my nails are in pretty dire condition due to over 10 years of nail biting (this has stopped now, promise!) and gel polish which left them very flaky and weak, I do love to draw attention to them with bright colours.
As I have very pale skin, certain shades really don't work on me; yellow, for example, is a big no! I usually lump for purples, pinks and blues as I think they compliment my skin tone. My current favourite shade is actually a beautiful rich lilac shade from Maybelline.

As well as the gorgeous colour, the nail polish itself is a really nice thick consistency and I genuinely think that you could use just one coat and be absolutely fine. I choose to use two to increase the richness of the colour.
This nail polish is only £2.99 and comes in a lovely, sleek bottle. For the price I think this is a brilliant product as it comes in a variety of stunning shades and also doesn't chip that easily either! It usually lasts me about 3 days which is pretty good going as nail polish never lasts very long with me. It also is really easy to remove with nail polish remover and doesn't leave any sort of residue on your nails.
Now, I'm no beauty blogger hence the awful review but BASICALLY this is a good nail polish and if you don't like spending a fortune on beauty products BUY IT. It is available in Superdrug (and probably lots of other places!)
